Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and PPC Advertising

If you’ve been reading my posts you already understand how important organic search is to the profitability of your website and business.   It’s hard for me to image running a website without some kind of search engine optimization (SEO) program, but there are times when using paid placement, better known as pay-per-click, or PPC, makes sense.

It’s usually profitable to use PPC campaigns for keywords where your site is not yet ranking within the top five spots, because 80% of the organic traffic generally goes to the top sites.  We include PPC in our search engine marketing campaigns for just that reason.  And if your PPC program is professionally managed you should found that the ROI (return on investment) should yield a strong return.  The most import thing to remember; there are two ways to manage a PPC account: 1.The wrong way.  2.Madwire Media.
